The vineyard is located on a 10 acre site at the base of the Niagara escarpment. The red clay based soils in the Lincoln Lakeshore DVA (DVA stands for a "Designated Viticultural Area". It is a smaller sub-appellation, an area within an appellation that has been identified with unique geology, soils, topography, climate and growing conditions.) are home to Cabernet Franc, Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Membership allows everyone from novices to experienced wine enthusiasts the privilege of a grape to bottle experience, participation in the winemaking process and acquisition of some of Niagara's finest world class wines.
